James Munyua Njau Jimnix was born on 9th October 1990 in Nyathuna. Nyathuna is a village in Nyathuna location, Kikuyu division, Kiambu district in Kiambu county. His parents are Caroline Wairimu Njau and Bernard Njau Munyua. He has a younger sister called Esther Ngoiri Njau. He went to Silver Hill Nursery (1995 - 1996), Nyathuna Primary (1997 - 2003), Valley View Junior Academy (2003 - 2004), Kijabe Boys High (2005 - 200 and Kenya Polytechnic University College. Throughout his child hood he lived in Nyathuna. He was a very social, energetic, intelligent and obedient kid. While in Primary school, Jimnix was an obedient and responsible child who was commended by his teachers. From S.T.D Two he was given the responsibility of being a prefect up to when he left Primary school. He also was a bright pupil. He led his class from S.T.D. 4 to S.T.D. 8. He managed to get a total of 369 marks out of 500. In High school he involved himself with the Christian Union (C.U.) and soon got to be the Ushering leader while in Form Three (2007). He continued to serve in the C.U. for the following year (200 and was chosen to be the C.U.'s Disc Jockey or Technician. He graduated from High school after taking his K.C.S.E. exams on the year 2008. He managed to get a mean grade of C+. Soon, after High school he took a course in Computer Packages at the Kabete Institute of Professional Studies and graduated after for three months. Later in 2010, he attended the Kenya Polytechnic University College. He took a course in Diploma in Computer Technology and later graduated on 2013. While in K.P.U.C. he also got involved in the C.U. In the first year (2010) he got the position of Prayers Coordinator in the Higher Heights Sub-Committee of the C.U. (which was later dissolved due to some unavoidable circumstances). In the following year (2011) he was chosen to be the In-reach Coordinator in the Missions department. He was relieved of the post in the following year.
